Re-Elect No One
GREED is the driving force in
Washington !
Greed in Congress:
Cut Congressional Salaries: Build a "Federal Hotel" and include a nice room
as part of their "compensation package" to offset the costs of living in
DC. Provide a kitchen and/or meals prepared in a central cafeteria, then
reduce their salary.
Require elected officials to pay for health care out of their salaries.
Require elected officials to pay into and collect Social Security like the
rest of us. Ban vested retirement plans for any with less than 20 years of
service.
Term Limits !!! None of them have provided the average American with
anything close to representation. Why should they be allowed to keep milking
the same cow until it is dry?
Level the playing field:
Prohibit campaign contributions from ANY source except individual taxpayers
who must be registered to vote in the state in which the candidate
is running for office and who must have voted in the prior election. Cap
donations from any one individual to no more than $500 and any single household
to $1,500. This donation limit shall also apply to the candidates themselves
to eliminate any candidate from dominating a campaign by virtue of his/her
personal wealth.
Provide FCC regulation to require TV & Radio broadcasters, as a condition
of their license, to provide a minimal pre-determined amount of time to each
registered candidate on an equal basis, paid for from a Federal Campaign
fund at the minimum ad rate.
Greedy Rich Bought Congress:
A great example of this is seen in the "Prescription Drug Bill" and the new
"reforms" to Federal Bankruptcy Laws"
Did you know Congress passed a law that stipulates that Medicaid is
forbidden to negotiate for the lowest possible price on medications
that are bought by those who rely on Medicare for their health care? They
MUST pay the drug companies whatever price they ask for. Yes...republicans
did this but have democrats submitted any legislation to undo this disgrace?
Who got paid? Drug Companies, large drug retailers like Walgreens,
CVS, RiteAid etc. Political campaign accounts.
New bankruptcy laws virtually assure financial ruin for the lower to middle
class while protecting those who have the most money. Since those who
have the most money are in the minority, did you ever wonder how such a law
could be proposed and passed by a congress elected to look after the best
interest of the majority?
Who go paid? Banks, Mortgage Companyies, Political campaign
accounts
See any pattern here?
