Time for Boycotts against AT&T, Verizon and other telcoms.

Today I read a pretty good article about FISA and immunity posted on Salon.com. Really great...too the point.

However!  At the top of that very article was displayd a big advertisement for AT&T !  The very target of the article is advertising and paying Salon for clicks. ( read the article here )

This brings up a topic that I think needs to be seriously considered.  We need to first, boycott Ads for AT&T and Verison for their illegal participation in wiretaps.  Second, we need to, where possible, boycott services offered by AT&T.

I realize that with near-monopoly status in many markets that may not be possible, however, where there are options people need to change providers and make it clear in the process that they are doing so to protest AT&T's illegal participation in government wire taps.

We need to Applaud Quest and any other telcoms who refused to participate.
